Ridge Hammons, Ph.D.
The founder and Executive Director of HELP, is a retired teacher, principal and Central Office Administrator in Special Programs with 30 years of classroom management and dedicated experience working with at-risk students. He and Jennifer formed HELP in 2008 while he was still an administrator for CCISD. He has developed and run special HELP programs for Nueces County, Texas Workforce Commission, and most recently, the Homebuilders Association of Corpus Christi. His favorite thing about his job is that he gets to help kids that nobody else helps.
Jennifer Hollingsworth, B.S.
Assistant Director of HELP, is a retired stay-at-home mom who turned a favor into a fulltime job. She works most often with people with disabilities and has discovered a passion for teaching social skills to youth with disabilities. She also handles the administrative tasks of running the HELP office. Jenn has 3 kids of her own who are growing up way too fast! Her favorite thing about her work is the excitement of helping a client get a job they love.
